Good afternoon,

We have in the last couple of days had a few brides which unfortunately due to their wedding dates have been completely unable to help. It is a terrible thing and very frustrating on our part when we are unable to help a bride get the dress of her dreams.

Over the years we have experienced that some companies are just so stuck in their ways, their delivery times are 16 – 20 weeks fixed, and that is that, then their are others that may do rush orders, these are an extra cost but at least if you fall in love with a gown and you don’t have quite as much time as you would have liked you are still able  to get the dress of your dreams.

There are now a few more companies listening to the stores and the brides, as not everyone leaves a year to plan there wedding and order their wedding gown.

In a perfect world it would be best to leave around 8 months to order your gown and have any alterations necessary carried out. In a not so perfect world it can be done quicker in some cases, in the case of our customer Suzie last week, she gets married two weeks time and has ordered a gown that is on its way to us as we speak.

So don’t panic if you are a bride that doesn’t have as much time as some, please always ask, don’t be rushed into choosing a dress just because you are worried, but get the information you need, as you may be limited to time depending on the designer of the gown that you choose.

All at Always and Forever wish you the very best in all your arrangements, and if you do have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us, we would always be pleased to help.

Best wishes

Always and Forever
